Q&A: INSEAD and International Experience

Q: Here’s a quick question. Does INSEAD require International experience?

A. Yes and no.

Adcom will say that they care more about an international perspective or orientation, but having international experience definitely is good proof that you might have that.

At the same time, some people have international experience but maybe not a very international orientation or an orientation that celebrates diversity.

So, it’s possible to demonstrate this by having worked with a lot of international teams or people in your job… it doesn’t always have to be work experience abroad, although that is ideal.

It’s important for you to articulate why you need to attend a global program in order to achieve your goals.
